Social Media

As a content creator and marketer, using various social media platforms is an essential role in helping grow and build a client’s brand. While IG and TikTok are all the rave, it’s easy for brands to forget about the importance of other social media platforms when they’re sucked into the never-ending updates of trending reels and memes. While Pinterest may not seem applicable to every brand, it’s an incredibly useful tool that can help increase engagement and brand recognition; and what if we told you that you could make money off pins too by simply reaching engagement or posting goals? You heard us right - you can make money on Pinterest for simply posting to Pinterest and for the amount of engagement you receive on each Pin - WE ARE DOING IT RIGHT NOW FOR CLIENTS! With Pinterest's Earn feature through their Creator Rewards Program, it’s simple for creators and brands to start earning money off of their pins. Here’s a breakdown of what we know about the platform’s features. What are Creator Rewards and HOW can I earn money?Creator Rewards is a new program on Pinterest that pays creators for their actionable and inspiring content.Pinterest will provide editorial prompts that will ask the creator to provide or upload certain content. These prompts will be posted to the platform on a regular basis in the creator hub.Pinterest says each prompt will outline specific post and engagement goals that must be met for a creator to earn money back on their pins. Examples of goals include receiving a certain amount of reactions, saves or takes on an Idea Pin. Some months may even have rewards just for posting an Idea Pin.For instance, a goal may be to post one Idea Pin every week in August. If this goal is met, that means you’ve earned yourself a reward - which, essentially, is money being sent to your bank account. How cool is that?!It’s also important to note that when your goals with the Earn feature are met, money will be deposited into your bank account the following month. How do I know if I’m eligible for the program?Pinterest does require that you have a business account to access Creator Rewards. The following criteria must also be met:

  • Use the Pinterest app on your mobile phone
  • Must be 18 years old or over
  • Must be a legal resident of, and located in, the 50 United States or the District of Columbia
  • Have at least 250 followers
  • Have created at least three Idea Pins within the last 30 days
  • Have 150 saves of your published pins within the last 30 days (a new requirement created by Pinterest)
