Social Media/Public Relations Spring 2026 Intern

PREM is a boutique PR & social media marketing firm for local and national brands. We are a creative and strategically driven agency whose core focus is to assist the growth of our clients through effective marketing initiatives. We work with all different industries and love to give interns the hands-on experience they need before entering the marketing world. 

If you love creating content, staying on top of trends, and are an out-of-the-box thinker, then we’d love for you to apply to become a #PREMtern. As a #PREMtern, you will get to work on all different marketing fronts with a multitude of clients. Each intern will build their portfolio, earn college credit, and potentially transition into a paid role based on performance. We’re flexible with class schedules, just bring your own laptop and creative energy.

Must live in one of these locations: Hybrid roles in Fresno, CA | San Diego, CA | Orange County, CA

• Assist with market research and developing and implementing marketing campaigns
• Give strategic input and feedback on marketing initiatives based on research
• Assist with managing social media accounts (content creation & creating and executing strategies)
• Assist with content creation (Reels, TikToks, graphics)
• Assist with PR initiatives (Developing media lists, writing pitches, distributing releases, and conducting outreach)

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Social media savvy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
• Canva or graphic design experience (a plus!)
• Leadership potential and initiative
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills
• Prior internship or coursework in PR, Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media (preferred)
