Social Media/Public Relations Summer 2025 Intern

*Applicants will be selected by June 2025.*

PREM is a boutique PR & social media marketing firm for local and national brands. We are a creative and strategically driven agency whose core focus is to assist the growth of our clients through effective marketing initiatives. We work with all different industries and love to give interns the hands-on experience they need before entering into the marketing world.

If you love creating content, staying on top of trends, and are an out-of-the-box thinker, then we’d love for you to apply to become a #PREMtern. As a #PREMtern, you will get to work on all different marketing fronts with a multitude of clients. Each intern will be able to build their portfolio in exchange for college credit. We will work around class schedules, but you must have your own laptop. This internship can also become a paid position based on performance.

Location: Hybrid roles in Fresno, CA | San Diego, CA | Orange County, CA

• Assist with market research and developing and implementing marketing campaigns
• Give strategic input and feedback on marketing initiatives based on research
• Assist with managing social media accounts (content creation & creating and executing strategies)
• Assist with content creation (Reels, TikToks, graphics)
• Assist with PR initiatives (Developing media lists, writing pitches, distributing releases, and conducting outreach)

• Must have excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Social media savvy 
• Experience in graphic design/Canva is a plus 
• Leadership potential
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills
• Experience with management of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter) 
• Previous Internship in relevant fields: Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or Communications
